■ HRL calls for a special issue of GEWEX-OSC as follows. We look forward to having many submissions.
The conference is organized around three themes:

1. Water, Climate, Anthropocene, 2. Extremes and Risks, and 3. Water, Energy and Carbon Processes

In the context of the conference themes, the special issue of HRL will also focus on research that contribute to the following areas:

・Determination of the extent to which Earth’s water cycle can be observed and predicted
・Quantification of the interaction between Earth’s energy, water and carbon cycles to advance our understanding of the system and our ability to predict them across scales
・Quantification of the anthropogenic influences on the water cycle and our ability to understand and predict changes in Earth’s water cycle
・Extremes in the water cycle and their risks to society

Especially, the topics related to Hydrology are welcome for the HRL.

■ Submission period: From Aug. 1st through Dec. 31st, 2024.

■ Submission conditions : Only research presented in GEWEX-OSC 2024 is eligible. Minor changes in title, authors, etc. are acceptable.

■ Editorial policy: Decision within 3 months is guaranteed. Judging will be either acceptance (very minor revision) or rejection.

■ How to submit: Submit from the following HRL site. Further details of the submission will be announced through websites and emails.
